The parts of the respiratory system are the larynx, trachea, bronchial tubes, lungs, and alveoli. The respiratory system's function is to provide oxygen to body and to remove carbon dioxide from the body through breathing.
Larynx: Brings air to the trachea
Trachea:Brings air to bronchial tubes
Bronchial tubes: Brings air to lungs
Lungs: Take in oxygen and remove carbon dioxide from our bodies
Alveoli: Place of carbon dioxide and oxygen exchange
The respiratory system is like a bike pump. When you push the handle it pumps air.

The respiratory systems works with other body systems.
The skeletal system protects the lungs.
Lungs deliver air to muscles.
It provides oxygen to the digestive system.
Fun facts:
The right lung is larger than the left.
The surface area of the lungs is about the size of a tennis court.
People breath 9-20 times a minute.
