The integumentary system parts are skin, nails, sweat glands, and hair. Each part's function is listed below.
Skin: Excretes waste, regulates temperature, and protecting tissue
Nails: Protects finger tissue
Sweat glands: Secrete sweat when the body is too warm
Hair: Provides extra protection
If we didn't have sweat glands our bodies would not be able to handle the heat that we produce.
